Not sure what to say?

Roell, Karl and Thelma

I am sorry to hear of David's passing. As you know I had known him since we were in Cub Scouts a very longtime ago now.
Eleanor and I tried to be sure and see him when we were in St. Louis. I was all set to call him on Tuesday evening to talk about the Cardinals. I tried to call on days he didn't have dialysis.
I have many great memories of going different places to eat with him and many good visits to remember.
I hope this note will be some comfort to...

So sorry for your loss Karl and Roell, but trust in the knowledge that he is now with his Lord. Your cousin, Eric

Karl & Roell, we are so sorry for your loss. I deeply regret I cannot attend your father's memorial mass as I will be out of town. Please know he, your late mother and you will be in our thoguhts & prayers.

Warmest regards,

Alan, I know how close you were to David, and that you are going to miss him, and the Cardinals are going to miss a devoted fan, but God has chosen a special time to call him home, please accept my sincerest sympathy to you and your brothers and sisters, Joseph DeMoor

He will be missed and there will never be another one like him. His life was a model of bravery, enthusiasm and faith--in God, community, friends, family, and love. He was best man at our wedding and godfather to our son, whose birthday he always remembered. We look forward to seeing him again at the head of the reception line in heaven.

My best friend since our freshman year in high school. My best man, my constant source of affection and understanding. I will miss you , but I know that you are with your beloved Barbara at last.
