Not sure what to say?

Wow. I never got to meet my great-grandfather, but seeing how much of an impact he made makes me happy. He passed before I was born and when i asked about him my mom gave me his old acoustic guitar. Now, I feel super close with him.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Stanley's passing. I remember he was one of those teachers who was strict, but humorous. I also remember his broad vocabulary, and thank him for passing some of that knowledge on to me. What a funny man!

I was in Mr. Stanley's English class at North Fulton High School. He was a great teacher and always made learning fun!

I will never forget Mr Stanley and his love for all things literature. The greatest homeroom teacher and the best English teacher will be missed.

My God bless you Stanley family

NF Class of '87

In a time when not too many people cared. Mr. Stanley stood tall. When I needed to talk, he was always there. If more teachers were like him, our children would be better people today. Never afraid to break up a fight, and EVERYONE respected his words. The world is missing a mentor, a friend, a teacher. My heart goes out to his family, as they have lost so much more. I am sorry, I just heard of his passing. I would have liked to pay my respects in person. God bless Mr Stanley, and his family.

Mr. Stanley was one of my favorite teachers at Luther Judson Price High School. He was smart, loved Shakespear, was extremely witty, inspirational, and had the ability to make English interesting. He held our attention the entire period.

I am sure that he will be missed by many.
I shall recall him with great fondness and gratitude.

I extend heartfelt condolences to his family and ask them to remember the good times and numerous laughs that you shared with him.

To the Stanley Family, we just heard tonight that Buddy passed. It's very hard to put in words the sympathy we feel, but we hope this lets you know how sorry we are and how much we care.

The Horton family sends our prayers to the Stanley’s during this time of bereavement. My late father, Cleve E. Horton (Brody - Decatur, AL) and high school classmate (Trinity High - Athens, AL) of Mr. Stanley, often spoke fondly, of their close friendship and wonderful times they had in school. I too fondly remember my family’s visits to your Atlanta home. I feel a since of peace knowing that they are reminiscing in heaven about the good ole days!!

Sincerely
