Not sure what to say?

I will remember Dave as a gentle man with a great sense of humor. He was a longtime friend of my husband, Barry, and so when I married Barry, Dave became a part of our family. He was godfather to our oldest daughter too. Our other two daughters came to know him also upon our summer visits back to Ohio. Dave knew how to entertain them with silly jokes and all kinds of yard games! I especially remember when he joined a square dancing club with his brother Tom and he told us about how much...

Dave always was, and always will be my best friend. I remember trick-or-treating on Halloween when were very young. Other memories were on Friday evening going through the White Castle drive-through with his older Brother, Tom, at the steering wheel. I remember playing basketball at the basketball court in the Stephan's back yard. I will always miss Dave...

Dave was my godfather. Growing up I heard so many stories of him and my dad Barry's antics as they were growing up together. We'd go back to Reading every year to visit my grandma and we'd always make time to visit the Stephans. I loved going to their house as it was usually around the 4th of July. We would play badminton, grill out, and Dave and Tom would shoot off fireworks. The thing I remember the most about Dave is that he was always laughing and joking around. He was very patient...

Dave was a kind and caring person. He was a blessing to all who knew him. He was a faithful member of the Reading Senior Citizens Club and held trustee office and kept lunch records for many years for the club. His sister-in-law Peggy stood by him through his illness and we admire her love and dedication to David. Prayers to David's family.

Happier days.
