I am watching a show on PBS called The Crossing. David Weir was mentioned, along with information about his death. I am so sorry for your loss. David fought for my freedom and I fully appreciate his patriotism and love of our country and I appreciate the incredible sacrifice that he made for me and for all Americans.

I was just thinking about you buddy. Keep an eye out for me up there.

I went to basic training with David, He was my battle buddy. David and I did everything together. He gave me some good life advice, He was always the smarter one between us. The last time I saw him was at JRTC when i brought him and his guys 23 double cheeseburgers. I miss him everyday, and before I do anything, I think about what and how David would do it. I love you buddy.
