I too am a very old friend of Benjamin and Jonathan. Benjy, as he went by then, and I were in the same small class at B'Nai Jeshurun together, Jonathan a year back. I remember well a birthday party at their house; I remember the Batman Costume and I even remember that Benjy, I believe, had a cut from a scissor in his eye. Benjy and I use to sing together. I became acquainted with David during the period in the late seventies when he ran Wheatleigh and I worked at the Lenox Post Office. He impressed me as a man who was greatly enjoying this experience of life that we find ourselves in. My condolences to all his family.

I have very fond memories of David, having worked for the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science for quite a few years. Just knowing he is not here makes me sad. I send sincere condolences to all his loved ones, specifically to Jonathan, with whom I have kept in touch.

I am an old friend of Benjamin and Jonathan, who based on how much time I spent in their 239 CPW apartment, was almost a third son to the Weisgals. While I have not seen David in over 35 years, I will never forget what a nice guy and cool dad he was. To the entire family, I am sorry for your loss.
