Oh my goodness. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was my surgeon when I had cancer. I had a wonderful relationship with him, as my doctor. He made me laugh and feel great during my post cancer follow ups. I will never forget him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dave and Claudia when they were finishing their residencies at OHSU. They were renting a property that I owned, and I greatly enjoyed having them as tenants. They were a very classy couple, and our interactions left me with positive memories.
Dave, I wish you peace and tranquility.
Claudia, be strong and be well.

I have great memories of working with David as an x-ray tech in the lithotripter unit at Emanuel Hospital. He made his cases with us enjoyable. I will truly miss him. Rest in Peace, my friend.

I worked with Dr. Winchester for many years at Adventist Medical Center. He never appeared on the ward without a smile on his face. One time, I was in a patient room changing a bed, and he popped in to help me. A very sweet guy! I also remember his sense of humor. Dr. Winchester always had the best jokes. My sincere condolences to his family.

David was very open about the nature of his illness prior to retirement but his good nature and positive attitude made that sharing not so much burdensome to his friends as an act of friendship. I admired him for that and his seemingly unfailing good humor and carpe diem attitude.
