Dear Hawkins Family,
While having lost such beautiful people this year, how fortunate to have had them with us for so long. While growing smaller, enough of the original "Oklahoma gang" is still around to remember those good old times when we all got together at Polly and C. A's humble abode in Snyder for the holidays. Larry & Teri, I am truly sorry to read about Delbert. He was such a wonderful person. Many of my fondest memories of growing up take me back to Western Car Parts, when we would all hang around the store drinking cokes with peanuts in them. (Of course we had borrowed the keys from their secret hiding place with your dad's blessing). Mr. Larry Hawkins and family, I am sorry about the passing of your loved one. I did not know him well but I spent many of my younger days learning from Larry Hawkins and I'm sure he inherited his tremendous character from Delbert Hawkins.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Delbert's death. Our family's association with him over the many years he was in the auto parts business was always "muy bueno." May he rest in peace.
