Delilah Willamena Bluestone

Delilah H. Bluestone, age 84 of Jersey Village, passed away on Thursday, December 13th, 2018. She was born to the late Bill Holeworth and Ella Houck on November 23, 1934. She was predeceased by her parents, her son David Rice and her daughter Tina Morley.
Delilah was a masterful jewelry designer and worked till she retired. After retirement, Delilah worked as a Census taker during the 2000 and 2010 Census Studies. Delilah was the life of the party and was always quick witted with a comment for any occasion. She truly enjoyed card games and board games, especially with the children.
Despite her hectic schedule, family and friends were Delilah's passion and delight. She enjoyed hosting parties at her house and going out with friends. She married the love of her life, Armand (Ed) Bluestone, in 1968. The couple moved to areas around the world living in Brisbane Australia, London England, Calgary Canada, Stavanger Norway, and Angola with stops in between in West Texas and Houston before finally settling in Houston's Jersey Village township
Delilah is survived by her husband, three step-children, twelve grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days and requests a small donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
