You and Delores were always a picture of love and beauty which I truly admired as I would see you both holding hands and touring around San Luis Obispo. Delores had a Christ like demeanor to you attitude. Always thinking of others before herself. I was told that once while playing the piano at her home in the west coastal mountain area, she would leave the door open so a neighborhood blue jay would fly in and sit on the piano and sing back to her while she played. Dee was my moms sister Josephine.Had many conversations with her on the phone.She liked listening to my opinions and occasional rant.You could say anything with Dee.No holding back.

I had loved dee as a mom and she all told me to keep my. Chin up and keep smile. She told me how special i was and told other people also and how. Special she was to me and she was my piano. Teacher for awhile and give me good lessons. She was everyPatient with me and we would go out to eat and spend time together and laughed together alot and she would help. I have many wonderful memories of my years as her piano student. I still remember her patience (or tolerance) in allowing me to play popular show tunes for my recitals instead of classical pieces. I'm still playing piano today (over 50 years later) – and will forever be grateful for her loving guidance. I'm saddened at the news of her passing. My prayers and condolences to her family.
