I'm so saddened to hear this news. Dr. Gustafson was kind and funny and one of the most engaging teachers I've had. His biology class my junior year was one of my favorites -- he inspired me to pursue biology in college and well beyond, and I still think fondly of our days in his classroom. My deepest sympathies to his family.
