LASSEN, Diana L. With deep sorrow we share that Diana Louise (Grant) Lassen of Westwood passed away, on September 22, 2025, at the age of 84. Loving wife of nearly 61 years of Richard L. Lassen of Westwood. Devoted mother to Gayle K. Lassen of Jamaica Plain and Richard D. Lassen and his wife, Kendra of Westwood. Cherished and beloved Nana to Audrey, Grace and Hannah Lassen. Beloved sister of the late Richard W. Grant of East Walpole and his life partner, Ingrit S. Meyer, the late Dr. Donald E. Grant and his late wife, Karyl of Madison, Connecticut, Virginia M. Stentz and her husband, Richard of Creve Coeur, Missouri and the late John A. Grant and his wife, LaQuita of La Grange Park, Illinois; and sister-in-law to the late Barbara A. Lassen of Norwood and the late Robert T. Lassen of Harwich. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Diana was raised in East Walpole, one of five children, and was a graduate of Walpole High School and Fisher College in Boston. She lived in Westwood for 59 years with her husband, Dick, where they raised their two children. Diana was a 40 year seasonal resident of South Harwich on Cape Cod, where she and her husband had a second home. She was a great baker, an avid bridge and tennis player and in later years worked as a tax preparer at H&R Block. Collecting antique art glass was her passion. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Diana's Visitation at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, WESTWOOD, MA, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 3PM to 7PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick Road, Norwood, MA, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10AM. Interment to follow in New Westwood Cemetery, Westwood.
