Terri, DJ, & Aaron,
We just learned of the tragic loss of Dennis through TV coverage at UCONN's first game of the season. We have followed DJ's career at UCONN with great pride and often thought of how proud you all must be to see DJ make it big time, especially Dennis who loved to watch his sons play ball. I had the privilage of getting to know this great family through AAU basketball in New Britain. I shared an entire week with Dennis & DJ as I drove them and five other team members...

From Our Family to Yours,

Our hearts and prayers continue to be with you and your family forever. Dennis was family to us, you all are. God Bless you all as he watches over you.

Love,
The Torres's

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the entire Hernandez family. Dennis was a student of mine a long, long time ago at BCHS.
He was always a gentleman and an inspiration to many to follow and his family. We will miss him in the CHS family too and keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Family of Dennis Hernandez, we pray that you will in time, find peace, knowing that Dennis is safe from all harm, and Happiness from the memories only a family as close as yours can make. Always think of those times and laugh as I know Dennis would. Remember that Dennis may be gone from sight, but never forgotten in our hearts. Dennis was an inspiration to everyone who knew him from, "back in the day" to the "generation of today", the Kids at Bristol Eastern are going to miss him...

I want to send my condolences to the Hernandez family. Mr. Hernandez was a kind and loving man who I was fortunate to meet through AAU with his son DJ. I have many great memories of family trips we used to make on the weekends to different events. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I am deeply sorry for your loss.
