Not sure what to say?

It’s been three years and we miss seeing you with the grandchildren at all BD parties and ball games. Derrick showed me the painting he has of you in his living room. Very nice painting of a handsome grandfather to my great grandchildren.

Derrick was our "go to guy" for insurance. Always nice and respectful to my husband and me. Condolences to all the family. He will be missed.

I worked with Derrick over the past couple of years and just recently, such a down to earth guy and fun loving. He will be truly missed by many

Derrick and I were great friends in Jr. High. Him and I slept in the woods behind his house many times as teens. Last night I looked in my year book and he signed "Best Friends". I'll miss and see you soon Derrick.

Tanya,

I've wanted to say a million things but have struggled with finding the words. So before I start, just know that this will fail miserably at saying all I wish I could say.

There is one thing I have told you repeatedly, but I will say it again. Neal and I love you and Derrick dearly and we always will. Our hearts are shattered with yours. We are lost right now, only desperately wishing we could somehow undo this tragedy. We are struggling desperately with accepting...

Derrick was a business associate of mine. He was easy to work with and conducted his business with integrity. He always was straightforward and his word was as good as a signature. I'm very glad to have known him. My condolences to his family.

He was a super guy and a good friend. Thank you for all the fun we had together in speech class in High School so proud to have you as my parented. It was a lot of fun!! I will see you some day soon, I will always love you and your big brother David, Thank you Jesus for these two great guys being my good friends!!! PRAISE JESUS. DanaD. Bozeman

I was very sorry to hear of Derrick's passing. I am the Great grandmother of Derrick's grandchildren Braylon and Avannah. He and Tanya were always so good to the grandchildren...trips to the beach etc., beautiful birthday presents etc. The last time I saw him, he and Tanya were at Braylon' s birthday party and on the way back to the house, he took Tanya's hand and they walked back to the family where the grownups were sitting. I could see the love he had for her and she for him. I am so...

sorry for your loss. my prayers will be with you.
