Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Dillard. He was such a great guy, and also a great player. I'll never forget one year when he stopped by our Life Member Party at AFM Local 257. He couldn't stay long, because he had a gig. What a hard working musician, and how wonderful that he kept bringing his musical gift to the world long after his retirement.

I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again. Like the words of William Penn, your dad did exactly that. I thank God for such a wonderful man that showed goodness and kindness to all fellow beings. Though he will be missed!! Know that God is forever present with you and your mom, Lisa. I love you both dearly. ...

I will never forget Mr. Montgomery. I was extremely shy and was put into band class in seventh grade. He had each of us take a test, and once he went through all of them, he called my name. I thought I was in trouble, but he said I was the one who scored the highest on it. He always encouraged me and took the time to make each and every one of us feel special about ourselves. I will never forget him. God bless y'all.

Mr. Montgomery was one of my favorite teachers when I was at W. A. Bass Middle School. Me and my husband could tell you some funny stories about our Fav music teacher lol He was definitely a charter
