Whenever I hear a song by Joan Baez, I think of the evening he and Nancy introduced me to her recording. Rest in peace, colleague.

I remember Rev. Veglahn well. Dan & I were Brookings High School buddies & the Veglahns lived at 303 17th Ave S. The Hookses lived at 303 18th Ave S. I interviewed Rev. Veglahn for one of my SDSU classes and I remember him tickling the ivories! Happy memories.

I will miss Uncle Don. In recent years at family gatherings he taught us how to play the hilarious Sir Hinkel Funny-Duster game; much fun was had by all. I will also always miss him leading the prayer before the family Thanksgivings dinners in South Dakota and Iowa over the decades. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
