Not sure what to say?

To the Byer's family, we were so sad to hear of your loss. Don was such a special person. He knew how to have a good time and made sure all around him were happy and taken care of. Connie remembers him as a great dance partner and karaoke singer. I only had the opportunity to visit with him and his family for a short time, but he always made feel a part of the family. He even took me fishing with his son Daryl and daughter Claire. It does not happen very often a man like Don crosses...

Dear Byers Family,
I am so sad for your loss. I will always remember Mr. Byers as a wonderful man who opened his home up to me as a child and was always kind and cheerful towards me. He leaves behind a wonderful, strong, faithful wife, two amazing children, and many beautiful grandchildren. What a legacy.
I am so sad to hear this news and I hope the days ahead bring you comfort and peace.
Love, Jamie Dooley

I LOVE YOU DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My beloved dad with one of his favorite game fish.
