Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Corbett,
Your presence with the Judge always enhanced his demeanor and confidence. 'Out of Chambers' disclosures were a cardinal sin, but that was no secret.
However I remember when he told me how he wrapped up his Presiding Judge, Court of Claims appointment by Governor Cuomo. He sat at the Albany Court of Claims Trial Court window directly across the street from Governor Cuomo's office window late into the night as the Governor worked on state business. Judge Corbett...

Barbara Corbett: I have just learned today that Don died last month. Please accept my sincere condolences and sympathy on your loss. Don and I travelled similar paths for many years and knew each other well. We both learned much from our time together in partnership. He was a sensitive, thoughtful and earnest lawyer, and a good judge. We will all suffer from his departure.Affectionately, John Manning Regan

Barb, Meg and Kim: Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all in these tough days of grieving.
Don was a kind and generous man, filled with love in his
heart for you all. John and I will always remember his
sense of humor at our wedding on Keuka Lake. I see you
are living there now . . . what a marvelous surrounding for
healing. Our love to you all. Gail and John McCarthy

Barb. I cherished the Judge's friendship. He was truly a loving and caring person and it was an honor to know and love him. Please accept my condolences.

Barb, Kim and Meg,

Judge Corbett has been my inspiration all my life since I worked for him as his Assistant in Family Court many years ago. He has always been uppermost in my mind. I cannot express how much I will miss him. I am so sad. Don was one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My deepest sympathy to each of you.

Barb, Kim and Meg and family:
The absents of body can't make up for the present of so many wonderful memories! Your husband and father touched me in a way that I can't find the words, he was very supportive of me, when I had lost my dad. Corbett as a family was one of the greatest things a neighbor could ask for.......many great memories at Keuka

It was never by chance that I met Don .... truly one of the greatest of individuals in all aspects of life - just reading the condolences tells how remarkable he was. It is an honor to have known him and his family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Don is an inspiration to all. I will always remember his smile, his laugh and his interest in other people. I think the world of Barb and the entire Corbett family. Although this is a very sad occasion, I feel blessed to have known Don. May his spirit live in all of us and motivate us to always to what is right. My prayers are with you.
