Donald W. 'Doodle' Dove, 61, of Calhoun Falls died Monday, May 9, 2016 at his home. He was born in Elberton, GA to Barbara Burton Dove of Calhoun Falls and the late Paul Dove. 'Doodle', as he was affectionately known, was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls and attended Calhoun Falls High School. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Dove and a sister-in-law, Karen L. Dove. 'Doodle' is survived by his mother, Barbara, of Calhoun Falls; and two brothers, Tommy Dove of Calhoun Falls and David Dove of Texas. Graveside services will be 12:00PM Thursday, in Latimer Cemetery with the Rev. Mike McMinn officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. The family is at the home of his mother, Mrs. Barbara B. Dove. A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.harrisfuneral.com.
