Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Don. I remember him as having a "big brother" kind of spirit. Back when I was 13 or so, Don sold me my first decent surfboard for about 1/3 of what it was worth because he felt bad that I had such crappy board. Although I didn't know Don really well, and I lost touch with most people in Ventnor when I left, I think my recollection of Don as a good natured guy is pretty accurate based on all of the postings here. I hope he had a sense in life of all of the people...

Truly sorry to hear about Donny. Way too young. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Fussner family. Duck was a truly great human being and will be missed by all. So sorry we didn't make the service as we were away that day.

Duck, I visited your grave today and saw that as we were in life we will be for eternity, neighbors! I was comforted to see how close we will be some day. Thank you for your friendship and thank you for always being so concerned for Kyle and his well being. God Bless you. I will never forget you.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Ducky. A great guy and one of the funniest guys I have ever met. Another Ventnor guy taken from us much too soon. My family was fortunate to get to know him. I will miss running into him Prayers and thoughts are with you Maria and the entire Fussner family.

Duck, you were the first friend i ever had. We met in 1969 when my family moved to wissahickon ave, i was just four years old. I couldn't have ask for a better friend in life. We did alot of things together: surfing, building our own skate boards, fishing, crabbing, camping on rat island and getting into trouble! The ventnor pier, wissahickon beach, the back bay, cape hatteras will never be the same without you, but i will never forget you my good friend. I remember like i was yesterday when...
