Dr. Gardner hired me at the EPA and had a positive influence on me as I began a 38 year long career with the EPA.

I knew Don at St. Peters. He was an amazing man with a mischievous spirit who radiated good humor. He had such a strong personality, that it is hard to believe he is gone. I will miss the twinkle in his eye and the upbeat greeting he gave when he saw you. We were out of town at the time of the funeral. May a peace that is beyond understanding surround you.

symphony in the lost of your husband and an extraordinary man.. man. In the earlier years, whenever we had any contact with Don, he was always so gracious , so understanding. I offer my condolences to the Gardner family. I worked with Don at Northrop/ManTech for a number of years. As Edith Bunker would sing "those were the days". I pray for peace and comfort to all of you during this time.

sion with a warm heart. He will be missed by all. Vaya con Dios,Don.

What a delight to be in Don's presence! He was the highlight of many of our weekly Rotary luncheon meetings. Always so kind, funny and happy. His joy for life and the love of his family and friends was always evident. Sending prayers for comfort and healing to all those that love Don. I will miss his smiling countenance.
