Read MoreMy mother, Doris Hanger (Nelson) was sadden when she saw Donald's obituary in the newspaper. She went to school in Camino with Donald. Doris graduated from 8th grade with Donald and has fond memories of him and other classmates walking home from school together each day. Doris would like to offer his family her deepest and most sincere condolences and may Donald's soul rest in peace.

Don and I worked in the Residential New Construction Program at SMUD in the early 80s. He had great knowledge of the District and when I needed information on how things worked if he didn't know it he could tell me who did. What a great guy to know and to work with.

I will miss Don he was a special person, good friend and a close neighbor. I served on the Sierraview Home Owners Association Board with him for many years. May he rest in peace.
