Not sure what to say?

I was his student at East Amwell. We didn't always see eye to eye, but he and I always played chess during summer recess at the school. So sorry to hear of his passing. Nancy (Hanyon) Woods

I am deeply saddened at the passing of such an influential man. I played basketball and baseball for Coach Manning while at East Amwell. He very much shaped me into the athlete I was then and the man I am today. He touched so many lives. I will never forget how he stood up for me in the 1987 sending district tourney and demanded I be awarded the MVP, despite losing the game. I will never forget him and the influence he had on my life.

So sorry to hear about Jake. Played baseball against him in high school and in the Tri County League. Then was fortunate to have played many softball games with him on the local Del Val team. Good times! Also coached basketball against him at the middle school level-never was able to beat his teams. Jake was a friend and a good guy as well as a legend of the area. His life was one of commitment and success. Hard to believe he is gone.

I am so sorry to read of Don's passing. I taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts at East Amwell from 1977-1983. I was Mrs. Winecker, and then Ms. Morrison, and also the Yearbook advisor. I remember well Don shaking his head as I took over the gym each year for a day to take group pictures for the yearbook. I also remember vividly his walk down the hallways, his great laugh from deep down inside, and his voice....a real commando! He was a great teacher and coach!
