Donald K. "Robby" Robinson, 72, of Peoria, died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 30, 2011) in Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

We were golfing buddies at Crestwicke for years. We now live in Ms. Rob was here this spring and he and I got to have a drink and visit for a couple of hours. As you know, Don and I were good buddies since grade school. We played football together in high school and I still remember the touchdown pass he threw to me. After we got out of the Army, we played a lot of fast-pitch softball together. I'll miss him. Please accept my sympathy.
