Have only recently met Don...often playing pool at Strathallan (while visiting my mother!) I am sad to read of Don's passing.
I have fond memories of Don at Butterfields (I worked for The Timaru Herald Advertising Department back in the 1980s) his quick wit, great sense of humor, kind heart and the love for his family.
