Not sure what to say?

To his Sons with deep sympathy: I am the historian at the church he grew up in in Bethlehem, PA. What started as a brief interview on his mother turned into over 10 years of conversations. I got to speak with Mr Watson about 2 times a year and catch him up on Bethlehem, the church and Black progress in the area. He would update me on how his wife and sons were doing. When I told him of my son going into engineering, he was quite proud. He was a very nice man and so sincere and earnest. I...

I just heard about Don's passing. I met him a little over a year ago at my place of employment .He shared stories about his childhood and his life and he was very inspiring and I really enjoyed talking to him. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

To his family and friends, I offer my condolences. Such a gentleman and trailblazer. He was part of that generation that knew how to do things. As a fellow Civil Engineer from a later generation, I honor guys like him who paved the way for us.

I am so sorry for the family´s loss. My Carter would not have been what it was if not for Don. Thank you and Rest In Peace.

I remember seeing Don seated amongst his fellow (RML)members on the last Wednesday of each month. When leaving the event he always had a "wave" of acknowledgement. Eric A. Johnson Director Retirees-Midweek Lunch

I read you dad's obituary. He was a most accomplished gentleman. I wish I had met him. To top it off he was a San Francisco Giants fan. It is good to know someone in your family got it right : ). God bless you all.

I totally feel for your loss. I hope he is going to a better place. Man, I really empathize with you and your family. Thanks for sending me the obituary. I will read it right now.
