Holly and Family- I was so saddened to read of Maxine's passing. She was always one of my most favorite people from the old days in the valley. I LOVED to go to the house and see all the pretty rugs she hooked and feel the love and coziness she had created there. She and your Dad were truly wonderful people. I am a neighbor of Maxine's and never remember a time that she didn't have a smile on her face. I'm sorry that I will be unable to attend Maxine's service, but will be there in thought. Holly, if I can be of any help with anything please call me.

I had the pleasure of meeting Maxine a couple of years ago when I was visiting my best friend who also lives in Bonita. She was a delightful, spunky lady and I was very sorry to learn that she had become seriously ill. I know she was a lady of great faith, and I hope her family will be comforted by the fact that she is now at peace.

We are so sad to here the loss of Maxine. She was an extraordinary woman. When I met her we had a great conversation about art and we decided to take art classes together. I had so much fun with her and she really had a creative talent when it came to water colors. She was always game to try anything even if the outcome wasn't what it was suppose to be. She could make something old look beautiful again by refinishing or painting etc. I know she is in a better place and suggesting, or telling...
