Not sure what to say?

My dear mentors in the youth group at Berean Bible Church, Donna and John, were the ones who encouraged me to go to the Campus Crusade for Christ weeklong retreat in September 1971. It was there I met my future husband Dan Johnson!! I am so thankful they pushed me to go!✝ It was my privilege to watch the Gillis children in April 1973 when their mom and dad went to Hawaii! Donna brought me back fabric that I used to make my going away dress after we were married! Such fond memories of...

I always considered Donna as a close Christian friend and she will be sorely missed. "Til we meet again, dear one.

It was hard not to be Donna's friend. She was truly one of the most kind, compassionate, and friendly person I've known. Heaven is a more joyous with her, although we will miss her greatly. John Sr., John Jr., Joan, Steve, Ann, and family - you had a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother. Praying for you as you celebrate Donna's life and mourn her loss.

Love, Layne and Esther

It was such an honor to know Donna. She was always so kind, loving, and friendly. She made everyone feel like they were her best friend. I look forward to seeing her again in heaven!

Donna, John and the whole Gillis family have always been a huge part of our family... Ever since my mom, Esther Aden and Donna became close friends through their shared faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.... Three Gillis kids were in our wedding.... Donna was always happy and full of love and fun!!! So thankful for her that she's in Heaven... But we'll all miss the times with the Gillis family!!!

Donna was always SO sweet and cheerful...I have very fond memories of Donna and the Gillis family.

Donna will be greatly missed! A friend of over 40 years. Her sweet smile and positive attitude always warmed everyone she was around. She shared her love of Jesus with many, desiring them to have a relationship with her Savior. She is now joyfully looking into the face of God and waiting to greet those in Christ. I'm so thankful she was in my life. I'll miss our many laughs together, but I'll see her again!

I will always remember Donna she was a truly wonderful person always had a smile and friendly to everyone

I thank God for all that I remember of you. See you on the other side.
