Not sure what to say?

Polly always had a story to tell, or one to find out. She loved people, whether working as a journalist, a chamber executive or a friendly volunteer. Nacogdoches will miss Polly Ritterskamp. -- Bruce, from the Nac Chamber.

It was an honor to call Polly one of my "second mothers" while she lived in Victoria. She was always an inspiration to me and a great friend to my parents. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Just want to thank Polly for helping me in Art class and in the Nac. Art League too. She was a good painter.

To the family-- Polly was a truly unique and interesting person. It was a pleasure and great experience knowing her as a friend. She will be missed! I am sorry that I cannot attend her services, but will be thinking of her and all of you.

Polly was the most fascinating person!
She helped so much in the research for our book about Nacogdoches during WWII.
I was so privileged to get to know her and hear her wonderful stories of the war days. Rosie the Riveter had nothing on Polly!
Rest in peace, sweet lady.

Polly, I was so honored to call you my friend..always looked forward to seeing you and visiting with you when I was in Nac. You will be truly missed.. I will treasure the bleach bottle you painted and the small little jar you gave me also a few yrs. ago..You were truly a lady of so many talents but the best one was the way you could reach out and enlighten, entertain and educate us on so many things and I always felt so much better after sitting out at the apt. and visiting with you.. RIP...

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
