Not sure what to say?

Dan and Family,
I just saw that Dorinda passed away a year ago, and my heart is breaking for all of you. Dorinda was more than a wonderful teacher, as we were the best of friends during my time at Prep. There are too many wonderful memories to list here, but rest assured they will always be treasured by me. She was like family to me and I loved her dearly. We kept in touch for all these years, and I spoke with her on her last birthday. I will miss her but look forward to seeing her...

I have very fond memories of Sister Dorinda from when she taught English literature (1972-1973) at what was then Kennedy Christian High School in Hermitage PA. She was a wonderful teacher and she became a close spiritual advisor, confidante, and friend. I have thought of her over the years and wished I had the chance to see her again. She truly made a difference in my life and I'm sure the lives of many others.

I have wonderful memories of Sr. Dorinda as a teacher at Prep. All nuns seemed ageless, but she always looked so youthful and was so energetic that she seemed more of a contemporary than someone who was 11 years older than most of us at Prep. I'm sure many prayers were said by her for us, since we were a particularly wayward class!

Steve Woytek, Prep Class of 1969.

Dan--

My condolences on your loss. Sandy and I wish you and your Family God's peace. We will keep you in our thoughts during this time of your grief.

Bill Smith and Family.

I have many fond memories of Sr. Dorinda both as a fellow student at VMA and more recently at Margie's home where she includes my husband, sister, and me for Christmas Eve gatherings. We always enjoyed hearing of her interesting experiences.

I had Sr. Dorinda as a teacher at St. John's in 1966-1967. I have thought of her over the years as a wonderful teacher. She sounds like she lead a wonderful, fulfilling life! Now she will spend eternity with the love of her life! My condolences!
