Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Armenaki was my favorite nursing instructor at UNCG School of Nursing. She was such a delightful person and encourager. She loved each of her students.

Mary Anne and I knew Doris at the UNCG Catholic Community and I would see her frequently on campus. She was a wonderful woman always positive and delightful to be with. Very supportive and empathic with her students in the nursing program and those at the Catholic Center. We will miss he. Chris and Mary anne

What an amazingly wonderful lady. I met her in 1990 when I began working in the school of nursing at UNCG. She was friends with my supervisor, Dr. Virginia Newborn and they would often take me to lunch with them at Al-Pat's or County Barbecue. She kept me laughing all the time. The smile in her picture reflects her personality.

Doris loved UNCG and the School of Nursing with all her heart. She loved the students, the alumni and the faculty and staff. She leaves a strong legacy and many future UNCG students/nurses will benefit from the lifetime of service Doris gave. Thank you Doris.

I met Doris at our neighborhood pool years ago. She would swim laps during the kids break. Doris got us Moms to swim or "water walk" and we got her to play water volleyball. Doris was so much fun and interested in all our families. She was a wonderful lady.

Mrs. Armenaki was one of those instructors that eased your anxiety with her quick smile and words of encouragement. Even after graduation in '78, she was available for advise and fellowship. She will be missed!!

My sisters and I knew this dear woman, we called Armi, as our Girl Scout leader through St. Pius X school in the mid 50ies. She engaged us in life and loved us as her own...each one learning while doing the Girls Scout practices, camping, cook outs, hikes etc. Such fun for us, and such an engaging mentor for all she touched. What a fine legacy she has earned.

Doris was my nursing instructor in 1978, Senior Med-Surg at Wesley Long, 4th floor. She was not just our instructor but our friend. She inspired us to be the best nurses that we could be.She would say "You are UNCG are special". She has left us with many fond memories.
