Doris Day has always been my favorite actress, I believe I have seen every one of her movies. She is very much loved in my household and she will be sorely missed.

I have loved Doris Day since I was ten years old. I first saw her on TV in Calamity Jane while trying to master long division. I got into so much trouble because I couldn't take my eyes off the TV. I was spellbound watching her sing and dance as 'Calam'. From that point on I couldn't get enough of Doris! My biggest regret is that I never got to meet her! I watched that movie with my granddaughter Emma once and was tickled when she asked me if we could watch the movie with that cowboy...
