Mary, what wonderful accomplishments your mother had in her lifetime. You must feel so proud of her and fortunate to have had her as a role model. We are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Doris was a great women, she helped us in every thing she could to make our life easy when we settled in this country, she was kind, caring and good listener always ask about every one in the family never talked about her self, we will miss you always. Rest in peace.

Aunt Dorris was very special lady,she cared and helped our family in every thing she could when we came to this country, she made every one feel special she was good listener and always ask about every one never talked about her self. we will miss you always.

Doris was a very special, kind, friendly, and welcoming person with a wonderful smile! My wife and I had the good fortune to have met and known Doris towards the end of Wadi's tenure as a Civil Engineering Professor at U-M. Her face always shown with goodness. May her memory be eternal in the Lord.

Doris is my sister- in Law, she was a sister, friend , helpful for my family in most areas with Wadi. Doris and Wadi helped us to settled in this country. We are lucky to have a person like Doris who carry the love, suport and caring for us and the people who seek her help with smile, Also to society in general. Doris really a special person.

As a member of Peppermill Way family I have funny fond and sweet memories of living next door to the Rummans Doris was always very involved with the kids my mom and her were great friends even in their old age lived at Glacier making more neighborly memories.together She lit a spark in U.
Glad we grew up with them!

Mary, I am sorry to hear about your mother. I didn't know what an interesting and helpful life she lived, and her many involvements in the community, and I respect her full life. It is always hard to lose a parent, and I send you my sympathy and best wishes.

What a beautiful tribute this obituary is to a remarkable woman and an inspired life. I remember Mrs. Rumman's welcoming smile, delicious dinners around the table and her kindness to me and our family over so many years. She and Mr. Rumman made an amazing team. With love and much admiration,
