Dorothy was a native San Franciscan and a graduate of Balboa HS. One of nine children in her family she grew up through the difficult times of the Great Depression.

Ron and family . . . I am so sad to read of your mom's passing . . . I have nothing but very fond memories of her and her vibrant personality from our school days in Westlake, and from the ice rink where you and I played ice hockey.
