Dorothy Fletcher Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 24, 2017.
Dorothy Fletcher was born in Dallas to Ruby Mae and Washington Daniel Bowden on March 7, 1929. She attended Euless High School and then married Lloyd Lee Fletcher on May 18, 1946.

She now joins her husband of 71 years, who passed away this past February. Dorothy is also proceeded in death by her parents, brother Harvey Jr, sisters Nellie Curiell and Gracie Moody.

She is survived by her brother Jimmy Bowden, son Troy and wife Ernestine, daughter Brenda and husband Dan, sons Eddie and Jimmy, grandchildren Jennifer and husband Tyler, Jill and husband Mitch, Kody and wife Jaime, Jordan and wife Wallis, great grandchildren Ethan, Caroline, Wyatt, Finn, Jack, Addison, Kayden and Harper Lilly.

Dorothy spent her life as a wife and mother. She shared her family's love of baseball. When her sons played Little League, she was a fixture in the concession stand. Later in life, she watched the Rangers, along with her husband. Before going to bed each night, she watched Westerns on TV. There wasn't a John Wayne episode she couldn't recall. Dorothy loved her family.
