Not sure what to say?

I have many fond memories of Dorothy. She saw very kind and generous to my family. My mother was so proud of her niece, "The Doctor." Dorothy helped my mother when she was ill. When I was a young man, she was able to diagnosis an illness of mine when other doctors could not. My fondest memory was a visit she made to us in Marshall when I was 16. She allowed me to drive her brand-new white Ford Thunderbird convertible, and I have never forgotten the thrill. She was a real lady, and I...

I DIDN'T KNOW DR. DOROTHY MACK STRAIN, BUT MY CHILDHOOD PEDIATRICIAN WAS DR. THOMAS STRAIN, SR...I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS ANY RELATION, BUT PLEASE LET ME KNOW..MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU

Dear Strain and Mack Families,
I am so sorry to here of Dr. Mack's death.
She was a warm and lovely person. My prayers
are with all of you.

Dr. Mack treated me and my three brothers when we were children. As a young child I was never afraid of going to the doctor because Dr. Mack, as well as her brother Dr. Donald Mack, were so tender. They filled my mother with confidence and treated all little children with such grace and tender respect. While I have not seen her in forty years, I still remember her gentle firm friendly voice and kind way. I hope her family is comforted in some small way by knowing of the esteem in which she is...

Dr Strain was a wonderful woman. I remember her smile and constant concern for her family and friends. She lived her life in the service of others and in some way everyone who knew her was better for that. I will miss this extraordinary lady. God truly gave us all an angel. God bless the family.

Dr. Dorothy was my sons, Eric and Kyle Hartford's pediatrician and she was wonderful. We came to use Donald, her brother eventually and then sometimes Gene. What a wonderful caring group and all such fine doctors. I will never forget how kind Dr. Dorothy was when I would ask the stupidest questions. She was always patient and caring plus wold explain things in real people language. She will be greatly missed.

Tommy our hearts go out for you. You have lost a cherished love. Emma and Bob Borders

By the end of this day, Dr. Dorothy's Guest Book will be filled with sentiments from many, many patients' parents. Unfortunately, I was one of those parents, who spent a great deal of time in her office with our son and (particularly) our daughter. Dr. Dorothy was not only a caregiver, she was a source of strength and knowledge. She kept me going, when I had no idea and very little stamina to proceed as we dealt with our daughter's health issues. She was a wonderful physician, a fine...

What an AWESOME Pediatrician and a loving one for my children to have had. I'll never forget that first visit I had with her,she picked my baby up into her arms and held him as if he were her own,the love, care and concern I saw in her was one I will always remember. May God put his loving arms around you Dr Strain, Dr. Donald and all of the Family, she will be greatly missed.
