Not sure what to say?

Bev and I extend our deepest sympathy and love on the loss Dorothy.

I have many fond memories of Dorothy as a co-worker in the Admissions Department at the Academy. Her enthusiasm and willingness to go the extra mile was her hallmark!

Also, I had the opportunity to visit often when delivering Meals on Wheels, and then more recently, as a fellow resident at Miller's Merry Manor.

Dorothy leaves a legacy of a wonderful family.

I am so sorry of your loss. Dorothy was a wonderful lady. If I were not sick, I would be there. Liked her very much. Pam Baker

Barb and Larry,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time.

Dorothy or "Dotty" as we CGA girls like to call her was a remarkable woman. She was my first dorm mother when I was only 10 years old at Culver Specialty Camps and remained so through my junior year of Culver Winter school. She was loving, nurturing, and protective of all of her girls. We were known to all as "Dotty's" girl's. I feel fortunate and grateful to have been able to be one one of her girls. Through the years she has inspired many many young women who will be forever changed for...

To Susie and all the family: My condolences on your mother's passing. I have many fond memories of staying with Susie in the farm house on Queen road, and being chauffeured with many other children in her blue station wagon. Your mother was a kind, friendly and generous lady.~ Sincerely, Valerie (Carter) Kemble

Mrs. Thews was my dorm mother (RD) from 1983-85. We started in Arragon moved to the motels during construction and finally settled into CT-Tower. Mrs. Thews was very protective of us and fought for us even if the system did not agree with her opinions, if she felt it was better for us then she always stood her ground. She loved all of us very much and she will be missed by many CGA girls! She is definitely running a tight ship run with "her rules" in heaven. Love you Dorthy!
