Not sure what to say?

Some of the best childhood me I have are of visiting my aunt Dorothy and sitting on the porch after dark and listening to the whippoorwills calling up on the side of the mountain, and the cucumbers and onions she made had a flavor that I haven't been able to replicate since I miss her and Uncle Norman and the whole family alot for that matter, and think them almost daily.

I signed earlier but it cut me off. I wanted to say that Alicia and I became good friends. After she was diagnosed with cancer, I spent more time with her and her folks at their house and the hospital. After Alicia's funeral I didn't see them but I wrote to Dorothy several times. When Michael retired to his farm, I would visit with Dorothy when I went for my appointments. The last time I went, I didn't see Dorothy but was lucky enough to get some of her delicious baklava. The world will...

I remember Dorothy's daughter, Alicia, beautiful girl who was a childhood friend growing up in Arlington. Dorothy was a link to that era and will be missed.

Michael Trahos was my dentist for many years and I discovered Dorothy was a member of my church (Mt Vernon Baptist) in Crystal City, VA. Soon after I met her daughter, Alicia, and we became good friends. When Alicia

Mrs. Dorothy Trahos shepherdered me as a merciful, although just loving mother after my mom had passed. Her expert guidance "steadied" my boat; led me through so dark valleys her friendship and love extended to me will remain forever. She was a powerful Christian woman, whose upbringing was entrenched in Biblical values.

Dorothy was my 1st cousin and so loved
by my Dad(her uncle). I did not get to know her until they moved back to Madison Co. She was a very special lady and we had some very special conversations by phone when she shared
memories of her life on Old Rag, treasures for our family tree. She loved it when I called, only wish I could have come back to visit with her again and she was going to give me some Greek recipes. She told me she loved the Lord and was ready to go.
