What a most wonderful woman. Probably the most saintly woman I have ever known.

I only met your mom once, but I immediately loved her! She was so sweet and fun to talk with. She told me stories about when she was growing up and how they used to go on picnics at the Strawberry in a wagon pulled by horses. She had an amazing life! Our love and sympathies to her family. Bruce & Sheila we love you and hope we can help you through this sad time in your lives! Love, Deb & Randy

Dear Kent, Bruce, Paul and Karen,
As we were growning up our families didn't get together very often and thus we really didn't get to know one another very well. Dad just never came to Salt Lake much because it was such a "big" city.
Then after mom died and dad came down to live with Glenn, dad always wanted to go see Dot and Irv. Whether it was 9:00 in the morning or 10:00 at night, he ask if we could go visiting.
It was at that point I got to know Aunt Dot and the love and bounding were immediate! We talked and laughed for the two hours we were there. She always had stories to tell about you kids, her current life and of course the Utah Jazz! I couldn't believe that she knew every player and how well they played! She was sharp as a tack! I always looked forward to seeing her--and how I grew to love her! I will forever be grateful that I got to know her so well.
I knew that she was fighting to the end, but at 97 years old she has now finished that battle with honor and dignity. I picture the loving reunion of all the family greeting her and especially the hugee loving hugs and kisses of her and Uncle Irv.
What was really strange was I had planned on picking up dad and going up to visit on Tuesday. I called and when she didn't answer I assumed she was eating and I would call back. Then I picked up dad and Glenn informed me about Aunt Dot. My heart ached as I realized I had had my last visit with her. I will surely miss her and all of our laughter. She brought so much joy to my life. I will cherish all the memories I have of her, Aunt Dot, my friend. Thanks for sharing her with me.
Love,
Jane Rasband Landon
