Not sure what to say?

Such a kind individual. I'm sure many will remember him for his gentleness and ability to listen.

When our Son, Thane, died 2 years ago, Doug took the time to come to his funeral. we felt so blessed that he came. WE cherished his friendship. May he rest in the eternal joy and peace that our God promises. RIP from the Nix family

To the entire family.I an honored to say that I had the privilege of working with Doug at Abraxas. He was a gentle giving soul who made every live he touched better for knowing him. He will be loved, missed and remembered for all his compassion and for his gentle caring soul.

I had the privilege of supervising Doug for several years at Abraxas. Doug had an impact on the kids he worked with unlike anyone I knew in the 13 years I have worked with juveniles. Doug provided me with friendship and support over those years both professionally and personally. He will be truly missed. One topic that always brought joy to Doug was discussions about classic muscle cars. Ironically, this week about three years ago Doug found me a 69' Roadrunner at a local dealership in...

Dear Karen, Jim, Ellen & Erika,
What a wonderful husband and father you had in your life. I knew Doug for a short time in comparison and already was aware of what a truly wonderful person and how many lives he's touched. The loss is profound but Doug's gifts that he has left us with...his love, grace, patience, creativity...the list goes on, will slowly heal that loss with beautiful memories. May God hold you close

Karen,

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with Ben. We had many laughs together and I will miss him.

Ben I sure enjoyed caring for you. We both shared the same birthday. I was just thinking about you yesterday, wondering how you were doing. Karen you are in my thoughts and prayers. You and Ben both fought a valiant fight. I will treasure his birthday card he sent me. What a wonderful man! I only knew him for a short time, but his sense of humor had an impact on me. I will never forget you both. Love and prayers. Peggy from Pinnacle

To My Dear Friend Doug, I am so grateful to have had you in my life. Thank you for the many years of friendship, making my commute to and from work more enjoyable, the adventures we had when we took clients to court and the all the memories of the unique person I was so lucky to be able to call my friend. You are loved and missed.

To the entire family... I was privileged enough to work with Doug at Abraxas. His smile was contagious and if that didn't work, his quick witt would get you smiling. We may have lost Doug in physical body, but Heaven gained another angel. May you find peace during this difficult time and feel His loving presence.
