Berger, Douglas Age 90 of Brooklyn Park passed away peacefully Thursday, May 29, 2008 after living many years with Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Ida Berger; brothers, Dorance, Bob and Jack; and son, Thomas. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Bernadine; children, Melanie, Jane (John) Applequist, Brian (Teri) Berger; grandchildren, Alex, Jenny, Jack, Mike and Julie. Doug enlisted in the Navy during WWII. After discharge he attended Dunwoody for refrigeration. He worked at Honeywell for many years as a Foreman and retired in 1981. A funeral will be held Thurs. June 5th at 11 AM with visitation 1 hr prior at The Church of St. Gerard, 9600 Regent Ave N. Private interment to follow later.

Bernie, Mel, Brian and Jane,
I was sorry to hear about Doug's passing. What a joy it was to know him and how he touched my life. I never did get a chance to tell him but I am sure now he knows. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bernie, you will always be in my heart.
