Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Doug was my grandfather's "little" brother and I think his favorite. They worked together at the coffin factory for many years and stayed friends even longer. It is sad to think that this generation of Deteau's is now no longer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Diana Deteau Horton, Abilene

Uncle Doug was a very special man. He will be greatly missed by me and everyone who had the honor of knowing him. Love and prayers to all, Malinda Bransom Anders & family

"70 years is our life span---80 years with special mightiness." (Psalms 90:10) Douglas had 98 years of special mightiness. May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of the times you spent together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Brother Richard and Diane,
I know Doug for a long time, even before I started to work at Texas Coffin Company.I like working under him.
May your hearts soon be filed with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you and your families celebrate life well lived.

Janene--We are so sorry for the loss of your dear grandfather. You and the rest of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Robert and Debbie Bigham

My heart is sad, but I know that Doug is now reunited with Fran, Doug Jr., "Rainey"(Lorrain), his brothers, sister, Mom & Dad. Doug was like a father to me when I had no one else. He taught me how to survive. The world has lost a treasure, but Heaven has gained one.

So sorry to hear of Mr Dougs passing. He was a very sweet man. He used to walk across the street and visit me when I worked at Edward Jones. He would even occasionally bring me candy! I know he will be missed. May God Bless all his family...... thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I am sorry to hear about Granddad passing. My prayers are with all of the family. May God comfort you.
