Not sure what to say?

Doug was a very special guy. I knew him at UW decades ago. Very sad to learn he died. Rest in peace.

For the past 12+ years, I have had the privilege of knowing Doug through our workouts at Trainer's Club. He was a bright, friendly and delightful person. He is missed by many.

Such sad news. Doug and I were both engineers who transitioned into power related contracts at BPA. It was a great pleasure to have worked alongside Doug for many years, enjoying the friendship both at work and socially. Always something happening...how many of us can say we shared a chance taxi ride with NFL Lynn Swann when in NYC to run the marathon. And little things, like on after a visit to our home, daughter Megan protesting: "But I want to stay and play with (our daughter)...

Doug and I were first cousins. We grew up together. I have fond memories of Doug at various family get together. He was always ready to get involved in whatever crazy ideas came up. So glad I had him in my life.

I had the pleasure of working with Doug when he returned to BPA as a contactor (if memory serves). He was always friendly, level-headed, and kind. It was always good to have Doug walk into the office. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Single Memorial Tree

I got to know Doug in the latter years of his life through our membership in the Trainer´s Club. I found him to be friendly, smart and fun. Doug had many friends at the club and his absence will be felt by many.

I worked at BPA with Doug. He always had a big smile on his face and greeted everyone with a friendly Hello, followed by their name. So sorry to learn of his passing.

I enjoyed Doug's greeting many mornings at the athletic club. He is missed.
