Not sure what to say?

Liz and family. I just learned of Doug's passing. I knew Doug from the Brielle Sports Club and after I left we continued to meet for lunch. When he didn't respond to my last invitation, I decided to Google him. I am saddened by his death and will miss our lunches when we would discuss cars, family and other mundane subjects. My condolences to you and your family, I will miss a great friend.

Doug's picture says it all. His smile was a permanent fixture and we were glad to see him as he was us. Doug elevated our group from the moment he arrived with his firm handshake and pat on the shoulder to the wave over his shoulder as his yellow Spider sped away. Doug always went out of his way to make our events better introducing our NJ Fiats to the Allaire car show which was held today, August 20th - it was not quite the same this year. It was always a treat to hang out with Doug. I will miss him deeply. Deepest condolences to the Masto Family

I only know Doug from our FIAT group, which I have only joined last year, and recently I sat across from Doug at one of our Mastoris NJFIAT get-togethers. He seemed like a warm, pleasant guy, you could tell he liked to smile, tell stories, and have a good time with people. I did not know he was ill or was having health problems. Just goes to show you, live life today because tomorrow is not guaranteed. My deepest sympathies and best wishes to all of Doug's loved ones and friends, it's a...

I was blessed to babysit all three children, coach both girls and witness not only the passion that both Mr and Mrs Masto have for their children, but am in awe in what truly amazing kids they raised...a true reflection on their character as parents. Mr Masto I know you will be truly missed. Your marriage is an amazing example for your kids and your memory will live on. A true gentleman. Gone too soon. My love and prayers to you all.

My wife and myself are heartbroken to hear of Doug's passing. I have known Doug since grammar school and my wife since high school. We have many great and dear memories of Doug. Our deepest condolences to Elizabeth and the entire Masto family.
