Not sure what to say?

Pat was a long time friend who was both kind and generous, always willing to help those around him. We worked together at the Jax Naval Air Station as well as the JTA and knew each other more than 16 years. We spent some time together outside of work fishing and at his church. He loved his family and friends, and his work. I will cherish our time together and pray that he is now at peace.

Pat was a very good man and I will miss him. He showed to me how you can disagree with someone but still respect their views, remain friends and laugh together afterwards. I wish more people could have learned from his example.

We will miss Pat deeply and will cherish the memories of his friendship. The thoughts of watching Peter,Paul, and Mary with Pat and Joanne during a tremenous rain downpour are fresh in our minds. The service led my Pastors Bob and Linda Standifer (The Dynamic Dual) was a real tribute to the quality of Pat's life. God Bless

The memorial service for Pat Rutherford today was such a tribute to a quality human being. The legacy he left to family and friends is a blessing to us all. There are memories too numerous to mention and it is the Lord's way of keeping loved ones alive in our hearts forever. To know Pat and Joanne is to love them both.

To the Family of Pat Rutherford,

Pat was a friend and coworker at the JTA. He was very passionate about everything he did in life. He was a man who would do anything to help the other person out and will be greatly missed. The world is a better place having Pat passed through it. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Jesus has his loving arms around all of us during this time.

Our deepest sympathies on your loss Wendy and to the entire Rutherford family.

"Daddy Fix" I want to say that it was a priviledge and an honor to have him as my daddy, he was my #1 fan. He was behind me 100% in everything I did. I had 33 of the best years, anybody could have asked for. I love him,and will miss him, but like Courtney and Daniel said "My papa is a big angel." I will treasure the time we had together, share my memories with my kids. I love you, Punkinhead.

Joanne, Wendy, Patrick and family,
We are deeply sorry for your loss. We will always remember Pat as someone who laughed and smiled all the time. Please know that we are, and always will be here for you.
We love you.
Jackie, Rob and Robert

The world lost a wonderful man March 7. He was always good to me...even when his daughter and I were getting into trouble. I will always remember him calling me "Stretch". My thoughts & prayers are with his family!
