Not sure what to say?

Tim, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I hope you have wonderful memories to ease the pain of his passing. You and your family are in my prayers.

Dearest Edd, Tim, Ed and Suzanne, and "Grands,"

So much love and so many golden memories - how lucky we all were in our own ways to have him in our family ! I will hear Doug's voice - and hearty laugh - for the rest of my life.

Lots of love from Dave and me,
Ginny Burcher Rehr

I express my deepest sympathy to the Whitlock family. I have many memories of the choir and Mr. Whitlock's voice, Your family was an inspiration to me as a child, I wiil never forget. God Bless your family and His strength help you to endure this hard time.

One can hardly think of Calvary Baptist Church in Newport News without seeing Mr. Whitlock singing a stirring solo. He and Mrs. Whitlock meant so much to so many! He will be sadly missed. We will keep the family in our prayers.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family, Mrs. Whitlock, Eddie and Tim. It was a pleasure knowing your father/husband and living on Howard Court. What a wonderful kind human being. I only have good memories of him growing up. I know he is now in a perfect place and hope he says hello to Zeb, Zeb Jr., Liz, and Linwood for me..
Much love to you all and God Bless you,
Debra Little (Garrett)

'Caring' & 'Generous' really does describe Doug Whitlock. I was lucky to live across the street from Doug & his family. Their door was always open. Doug & Edd both knew my folks since they dated, and it was always fun to hear the stories - which were not appreciated as much as a teen, as i appreciate them today. Condolences to Edd, Tim & Eddie, who indeed had a wonderful husband and father. Gail (and Steve) Kiger (Bonsey)

Mrs. Whitlock and family:
I am thinking of you all at this time. It is hard, I know, but we have the comfort that he is making beautiful music with the heavenly choir along with the rest of the quartet he sang with at Calvary!! Blessings and peace to you all.
Lou and Sarah (Puckett) Kressaty
