Not sure what to say?

So sorry to read of Jim's passing. I was a classmate and always enjoyed time with him during our class reunions. Please publicize his memorial in 2022, I am certain several classmates would like to participate. Thank you.

Dr. Myers was a kind and dedicated doctor who took good care of me and my sister Mary--and helped bring three healthy girls into the family. Remembering him fondly and sending our condolences to his family.

Trees Planted

While taking a horse to the vet in Lexington KY, Jim told me I was the only one that understood all of his (corny) jokes. I doubt that! I think I was just the only one who would laugh at them. I do know one thing, it's going to be very dry in the Lexington area for awhile. It seemed like every time we were there (which was quite often) it stormed. I will miss my friend greatly!

Dr. Myers was my OB/GYN for many years until he retired. He delivered both my daughter and my granddaughter. He also performed 2 lifesaving surgeries on me for which I am eternally grateful. I vividly remember his sense of humor when he apologized for cranking his music up in the OR before my surgeries. But most of all I will cherish him always sharing his faith.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Memories of love and friendship are treasures we will carry with us forever. Jim was more than our Uncle, he was a man forged of something unyielding who spent hours training, caring for horses as well as his fellow man. His love for horses was no match for his love of family and humanity. He was a true gentleman, student and teacher of literature, friend, mentor, and caregiver. We will miss him terribly - God...

Please know that we are fondly remembering your father. It is always sad to to loose such a vital part of your lives. Cherish the memories.
With our heartfelt sympathy, Dr. Michael and Connie McDonald

Dr. Myers delivered three of our boys. He was a wonderful and very kind doctor who made us feel at ease during their deliveries. Our deepest sympathies are with his family.
