Not sure what to say?

Carol, as I read Ron's obituary it was easy for me to remember how much fun he was from our days playing golf at Florence CC.

He will be missed by many.

I offer my condolences to the family of Dr Howdyshell(Ron) as he was called during our time together in the Zodiac Play many years ago. I recall his many kindnesses afforded me during and afterwards whenever we ran into each other. May fond memories help to sustain you today and in days ahead.

I am saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I was privileged to have known him. My deepest sympathy to the family and I wish you all strength and comfort.

So very sorry about the passing of Dr. Howdyshell, he was certainly a friend and asset to the Florence school system. He will always be remember for his willingness to help with any problem that might arise and his good humor.
The family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so terribly sorry to hear of Ron Howdyshell's passing. My deepest condolences to Carol and all the family. I wish you strength and peace.

RON had a wonderful personality and would help you in any way he could. He was the "go to" for information about his job and RON believed in giving assistance to the disadvantaged...

I really enjoyed knowing Ron. He was a delight to know. I played in the Shoals Community Band with him. A great friend to easily remember.

Carol, Tom & Mike: I so shocked and saddened of this news. I will be out of town the day of visitation, which I hate very much. Please know that y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.
