We were friends in law school and spent a summer in DC with Bob Nichols in a tacky apartment that only three students would take. Duncan was a terrific reliable discreet friend and determined competitor as a legal advocate and basketball junkie. He had a sophisticated sense of humor and a wide open-minded appreciation of literature, music , poitics,law and multiple cultures, especially the Hispanic tradition. An enthusiastic dancer too. Wish he could celebnrate his life with us.
