E.B. Gayle Jr

E.B.'s mom (Aunt Iona) was my Godmother, so I spent a lot of time at their home when I was a child growing up. Cousin E.B. and his family played a part in my upbringing, so I have many great memories of him, and of them. My sister Judy and I are sorry to say we cannot get leave from our jobs to attend the funeral, but we're going to make sure to attend the wake tonight to pay our respects. E.B. was such a wonderful cousin. I am truly blessed to have known him. He was a very giving, compassionate man. He was so much like his father.

When I was a child I remember thinking he was as handsome as a prince. He married his princess Sarah.They were a beautiful, wonderful couple.

I am so sorry I will be unable to attend the funeral because of my work obligation.
