Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in the loving support of family and friends and the God of love and comfort through Jesus Christ (1 John 4:9).

A great writer of letters and Christmas cards, a great sense of humor, A great lady.

Dick and family, from all of your many friends at First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to you over the passing of your loving wife and mother. She was a special friend to all of us. Never forgotten.
Love,
Barbara and Larry Holm

Edie Phelan: the Will Rogers of the Village of Golf! Your warmth and humor will be deeply missed, and we were privileged to share it while we were neighbors. Heartfelt sympathy to Dick.

Edie
Truly one of a kind. Wonderful story teller and conversationalist. An avid antique collector, book reader, and one who volunteered her time to worthwhile causes. Overall, an examplery person. A friend to young people and a person with a clever sense of humor, and master of puns. Jay

My deepest condolences to Dick and the family. Edith was like a mother to me when at the age of 8 my Mom and Dad divorced. I'll always smile thinking of her and her crazy christmas cards. Love Always!

To Edie's family-- all of us who were Chi Omega sisters of Edie -- we will always remember her fabulous abilities as a hostess of so many Chi O gatherings. Love to her family.

May God bring everlasting comfort to your hearts and give you the strength to endure this difficult time. Isa 66.13

Im sorry for your loss. May the "God of all comfort" be with you in this time of grief.
